Alison Brennan MA, NCC, LMHC - Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Alison Brennan has been an advocate and provider of
mental health services for the past twenty plus years. She started her career
working at a youth shelter while studying at Coe College. Alison
graduated from Coe College in 1996 and the University of Northern Iowa with her MA in Mental
Health Counseling in 2000. Her desire to travel led her to Oregon after
graduation, where she worked as a therapist at West Salem Clinic Mental
Health in Salem, Oregon. She gained extensive training in numerous
mental health specialties including Dialectic Behavioral Therapy while
working in Oregon. Alison then moved to Omaha, Nebraska and worked
primarily with children and families as a therapist for Intensive Family
Preservation. She was also a therapist at Omni’s Eating Disorder
Program. Alison returned to Iowa and worked at Seasons Center for
Community Mental Health in Northwest Iowa. In the summer of 2010, Alison
started a private practice, Achieve Mental Health, in Iowa Falls, Iowa.
There she provides counseling to families, adults, and individuals.
Denis Bruflodt MA, LMHC - Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Denis Bruflodt has been working as a mental health counselor
for several years. He graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2015
with his Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. During
his education, he received training in DBT and has gained experience
working with children, adolescents, and adults. During Denis’s
education, he received training at Achieve Mental Health Inc and has worked
in Iowa Falls since he graduated. Denis officially joined the team at
Achieve Mental Health in August of 2017. He currently provides
counseling to families, couples, and individuals. Tuyet Noriega MA, LMHC - Licensed Mental Health Counselor Tuyet Noriega has various experiences as a mental health counselor. She was licensed in Iowa in 2020. She is a graduate of University of Northern Iowa. Tuyet provides individual, group, and couples counseling. Tuyet had years of training in DBT, private practice, and working with the school systems.
Morgan Mills, BA Office Manager
Morgan Mills started at Achieve Mental Health in March
of 2018. She has her Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Morgan has a
history of working with the elderly in nursing homes. Morgan is certified in Trauma Responsive Yoga. She is available
to answer scheduling questions for Achieve Mental Health and Brian Vold.
Tracie Akers Intern 2022-2023 Tracie Akers is currently working on her Master's Degree for Mental Health Counseling. She has years of experience at South Hardin school district and is an invaluable advocate for mental health in Hardin County. Established in 2010 by Alison Brennan, Achieve Mental Health Inc. is a
local private practice, operating in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Our therapists are dedicated to
improving mental health in Hardin County.
